CQC readiness

See your evidence the way an inspector will

Inspectors look at your service through five key questions: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. CarersDoc rolls your workforce evidence up the same way, and ranks everyone by how soon their evidence lapses, so you close gaps before an inspection rather than during one.

One ranked at-risk register

Every expiring DBS, training course, right-to-work check and overdue supervision lands in a single list, ranked by how soon it lapses, so the most urgent person is always at the top.

The five key questions view

Evidence rolls up under Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led, with drill-down from each question to the people and records behind it.

Evidence packs per key question

When an inspector asks about a specific area, generate an evidence pack for that key question alone, instead of handing over everything.

A trend, not a snapshot

A daily compliance trend shows whether your evidence position is improving or slipping, so you can act on the direction, not just today's picture.

How it works

  1. 1

    Track

CarersDoc already tracks DBS, training, right-to-work, references, supervisions and more across your whole workforce.

  2. 2

    Roll up

Each piece of evidence is grouped under the CQC key question it supports, with an at-risk ranking across everyone you employ.

  3. 3

    Act

Work the register from the top down, and pull a per-question evidence pack whenever you need to show your position.

Frequently asked questions

Does this make my service CQC compliant?+

No, and no software can. Compliance is judged by CQC against how your service actually runs. What CarersDoc gives you is clear sight of your workforce evidence, grouped the way an inspector groups it, so you can find and close gaps before an inspection.

Is this an official CQC tool or score?+

No. CarersDoc is not endorsed by or affiliated with the Care Quality Commission. The view uses the five key questions as a familiar way to organise your own evidence.

What feeds the at-risk register?+

The evidence CarersDoc already tracks: DBS status, training expiries, right-to-work re-checks, references, supervisions and appraisals, and document expiries. Each person is ranked by their soonest-lapsing evidence.

Does it cover office staff as well as carers?+

Yes. The register covers your whole workforce, carers and office staff alike, because an inspector will look at both.
